When you sell an item in Paypal… you may get mails from potential buyers andone of that could be a scam. Be careful in revealing your personal details. Following are some of the mails and how they basically want you to ship that item even before money reaches your bank account (of course it never reaches).
A great resource for me : http://www.jonduenas.com/blog/2009/08/why-would-someone-want-to-scam-me/

how lucky i am find this web.. thanks for share ^^
Great post. I am still getting the ones offering me a gajillion dollars from some dead distant uncle or something. People actually must be falling for these scams because I can recall getting these emails as far back as 5 or 6 years ago. Good job helping to expose them further. Dave

This also happens to me. I was selling a musical instrument through craiglist. A person named Liana Rose wants to buy it and she said she has been using PayPal for 5 years and it is very secure. After I send her an invoice, this “service@paypal” <transactiononline@officeemail.net emailed me and wanting me to send money through Western Union for shipping cost. That the money is in my account but on hold till I send the shipping cost to a Lakesha Boyer 162-168 regent st., London, UK W1B5TF. After, I need to email back to PayPal "service@paypal" <transactiononline@officeemail.net the MTCN no. then PayPal will credit my account. After a few days, "service@paypal" <transactiononline@officeemail.net emailed me back and stating I need to send more money for customs and insurance. Again to the shipper Lakesha Boyer. Phoned PayPal, they said the email that I am receiving is a scam. So I am a scammed victim and I am sharing my experience.
they are rogues but we also have sellers that try to scam on ebay….
